Man was created for perfect fellowship with God--they walked and talked together in the garden doing the work God had given them.
When Adam & Eve disobeyed God, sin entered the world destroying perfect peace, perfect fellowship with God. But God sought them out and sacrificed an animal to cover their shame. He then promised the Messiah would come to conquer the enemy of sin.
Through a system of sacrifices, man was temporarily made right with God until Jesus.
Jesus was the perfect sacrifice because he never sinned. He came down from heaven to become that sacrifice. He was crucified, died and on the third day rose again overcoming death. He saves us from sin's penalty and sin's power.
One day, each of us will die entering either into our heavenly Eden with perfect fellowship with God forever. Or we will continue to live eternally with the darkness and pain of sin in Hell. Recognize your need and call upon the Lord Jesus Christ. He is waiting.
